I'm sure you're wondering why this card would be pictured on an Indians baseball site.Well , it seems there was some sort of football game played over the week-end ( I really don't follow football too much ) and I heard this guy's name mentioned once or twice. I thought to myself , self , don't you have a card of his somewehere ? Now I have somewhere between 125,000 / 175,000 cards but they are sorted by sport. One box of hockey and misc. game and collectable cards , one box of basketball , two 5K boxes of football and all the rest is baseball. So it wasn't that hard to locate. This guy was actually born in Findlay , Ohio ; just a hop , skip and a jump from where I live ! So now , what do I do with this card ? Bicycle spokes ....haven't done that for about 45 years. Flippin' like "Dinged Corners " was just talking about. Never did do that , but I would like to try it. Hey David you got any ideas ? Anyone have any ideas ?
There happens to be one of those on eBay with a "buy it now" of $150.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see that one ! I saw one starting at $.99 and several graded ones that sold for less than $20.00. Maybe I should look again. I'd really like to get some good tribe card(s).
ReplyDeleteThat is a very cool card! I never was a big football card collector, which is a bummer since i would have had some great steelers cards over the years... ah well...
ReplyDeleteTry searching for "Roethlisberger Fleer Draft Day Rookie" on eBay. I tried posting the auction link but the URL was too long and I wasn't able to post it.
